English-Workshop

...with Harry and James

This is Harry and James (Mr. Bond) from the Native Speaker Network. We spent two days with the class 3AK.

Both days were filled with English speaking activities which the class responded very well to and they were a lot of fun to work with. We covered topics of setting up and financing a new business. After covering the topic, the students in groups had to come up with a new business idea and present a business plan to the investors (the native speakers acting as business angels). The students were very creative and came up with excellent ideas. Moreover, they were very keen on debating, questioning each other which made the activity very lively and interesting for all. We had a great two days and we hope to see the students of this class again in the future.

After the two days with 3AK we had three days with 1AK.

We focused on the groups communication skills, creating an environment in which the students could feel confident to use their English in all sorts of topical games and activities involving debates. The students were very enthusiastic, and like 3AK they were a lot of fun to work with. We look forward to seeing them next year and wish them the best for their internships in the summer and their next school year.
